+60% adviser efficiency at 49 Financial, with one client view.
Advisers 60% more productive with one client view. No lock-in to the package.
What was there
A financial planning firm in Austin, Texas, custodian Charles Schwab. Financial Services Cloud out of the box did not cover the complexity of accounts and custodian integrations. AUM reporting, compliance cadence and service levels were manual. Onboarding and KYC review were partly manual. Adding the Salentica managed package brought new limits: customisation, object limits, conflicts with managed automation.
What we did
Stabilised core FSC: tailored dashboards, onboarding and compliance review automated in Flow, household and relationship data cleaned. Implemented Salentica with an architecture that balanced its accelerators against the firm's need for flexibility. Built a custom extension layer of child and external objects for high-volume data, so the managed package's field and storage limits were never hit. Event-driven integration through Platform Events and Change Data Capture to avoid recursion and governor-limit conflicts. Adoption through training, role dashboards and UAT playbooks.
What came out
One 360° client view instead of five sources. Real-time AUM, pipeline and compliance tracking for leadership. No lock-in to the package: the custom architecture stays flexible.
What we say out loud
The firm chose a managed package after the first phase; we built around it rather than against it. That decision is why the results survived the package's upgrades.
What the client needed from a partner.
Financial Services Cloud out of the box did not cover their accounts or the custodian feed, and a managed package was on the way. They needed a partner who would build around the package rather than hack inside it, so the firm would not be locked in by its own customisations.
What happened next
The firm added Salentica after the first phase. The extension layer of child and external objects kept working through the package's upgrades, which is the reason the +60% and the one client view survived.
